What an experience!

The food is excellent and the service superb! Tom behind the bar was friendly and approachable, and the waiting staff were so amenable, even holding the final bottle of wine for us so that we could enjoy it during our stay. I have recommended and will continue to recommend the 1919 restaurant and the Cottage in the Wood. Both stays memorable and an absolute pleasure.

A hidden gem in the Malvern Hills

Fantastic views, amazing room and food to die for. Couldn’t fault the service, all the staff are lovely and the food was even tastier than it looked.

Dinner, bed & breakfast offer

The most amazing stay for my wife's birthday

The location is superb with great access to the Malvern Hills, the accommodation is comfortable clean, welcoming and for us most importantly relaxing. We actually arrived on the opening night of a new restaurant opening and enjoyed a superbly cooked and presented tasting menu. A real treat. Breakfast on both mornings was also superb. The thing that makes this place so special though is the staff. From booking through to check out everybody was so helpful and friendly.

A Wedding Anniversary Sunday Lunch....

Not been for some time, location as attractive as I recalled and the beef was to die for. A set £39 for three courses thoroughly good value for such quality, all served very efficiently in a very relaxed and welcoming restaurant.

Country hotel nestled in the hills around Malvern

Beautiful hotel nestled in the Malvern Hills. Stunning vistas and a prime location for visiting the area and beyond. Comfy rooms, lovely toiletries and very peaceful and quiet. Dining is a true experience. Make sure you book ahead if staying for the time you want to eat, as this is a destination restaurant. Had dinner there two nights in a row as it was so delicious.

Excellent lunch

We had the three course lunch. Every single morsel was delicious and beautifully presented . The new chef is obviously talented as the cookery was imaginative. Great service from Michael who was attentive but not overly pushy. The views are beautiful from the dining room. Well worth the drive.

Epic Views. Great service

Always wanted to see where this hotel was and last Sunday we found it by chance. So we sampled a gin & tonic and some wasabi beans and sat outside taking in the view. Very nice bar man. Friendly & polite. Reception was busy. Lots of guests just chilling. Menu looks lovely. Need to visit again to eat.

Really lovely

This was booked last minute as a quick overnight stay. It surpassed all my expectations and I’d happily spend longer here. It’s in a lovely setting, with a great restaurant and lovely staff. Breakfast was delicious. We chose the most basic room, but it was great. Not too small, clean, and very comfortable. I’m sure we will be back!
